this class is intended as a stepping stone from our sprouts class, or from other more formal preschool offerings that can be found elsewhere in the athens community, and is designed to prepare the little ones for a more structured day, while still retaining the elements of creative play and imaginative, experiential learning. exploration themes based on the seasons and creative projects (art, music, movement, outdoor play) will provide the framework for the children's learning. children must be (socially mature) 3 years of age and actively potty-training to enroll. this class is a mixed-age class intended for children 4 and 5 years of age and can be attended in lieu of public Pre-K.

TUITION & FEES

tuition & fees schedule:

application fee: $50/per child (one-time fee due when enrollment application is submitted)

insurance fee: $125 per year/per child (due August 1st or first day your child/ren attends if after August 1st)

supply fee: $200 per year/child (due by August 15th for 2024-2025 school year)

registration fee: $275 per school year/per child (due by May 1st for 2024-2025 school year).

tuition: (due monthly at the first of each month)

seedling class: (3 to 5 years of age): 5 sessions/week (M-F): $825 / mo

late payment fee: $25/per child (late fee is charged if monthly payment is not submitted within 5 days of due date and charged each month thereafter if an outstanding balance remains due)

*please note if you have an open balance on your account of $500 or greater, your child/ren will not be allowed to continue to attend class until outstanding balance is paid.

*If your family is experiencing a hardship, please contact our Director (Rachel) to discuss how to resolve and if your family qualifies for a hardship scholarship.

late pickup fee: $25/per child (late pickup fee is charged if guardian is late to pickup child/ren 2 + times in a given month without prior approval from child’s teachers)

about the seedling class: (designed for children 3 (social mature 3s) – 5 years of age)

our seedling class is intended as a stepping stone from our sprouts class and is designed to prepare the little ones for an even more structured day, while still retaining the elements of creative play and imaginative, experiential learning. Exploration themes based on the seasons and creative projects (art, music, movement, & outdoor play) will provide the framework for the children’s learning. Children must be (socially mature) 3 years of age and actively potty-training for this particular class. we have a total of 8 spots per year. classes are held m-f from 9 am – 2 pm. tuition is due at the first of each month and is paid as a space reservation for your child in the class, therefore; there are no refunds for days missed. Pre-registration is required.

things to bring daily: child-sized backpack/bag, extra underwear, wipes, change of seasonally appropriate clothing (more if actively potty-training) & outerwear, bug repellent, sunscreen, water bottle, snack and lunch (please only send items that can be served at room temperature and please include an ice pack in your child/ren’s lunchbox, as we do not refrigerate lunches/snacks). please note we are nut-free, so no products containing nuts please. we’ll be happy to offer suggestions for product substitutions like sunflower butter. *please see other food guidelines sheet for healthy suggestions and preparation guidelines. please label your child’s snacks, lunches, and water bottles with his/her first AND last name & please pack lunches in containers that your child can successfully open & close as we work on unpacking and packing up our lunches independently in this class.
