our sprouts class is a good first step for your child as they transition from your home out into the world. our teacher to child ratio is typically 1:4, so each child receives plenty of attention and connection. our teachers are cpr-certified and caring, conscientious and creative. the children participate in a mix of indoor and outdoor playtime, exploration through playing with simple toys, and through art, music and movement activities.
these classes are currently led by katie mccullough, moriah payne, emily gore, amber carpenter, abby broadrick, & emily ramirez (depending on the day/session)
this class is intended as a stepping stone from our sprouts class or from other more formal preschool offerings that can be found elsewhere in the athens community, and is designed to prepare the little ones for a more structured day, while still retaining the elements of creative play and imaginative, experiential learning. exploration themes based on the seasons and creative projects (art, music, movement, outdoor play) will provide the framework for the children's learning.
this class is currently led by amber carpenter & rebecca espana.
our camps are offered during our summer session which runs mid-May through early August and consist of many offerings for ages 3 to 12 years.
our seedling camps are offered weekly (M-F) onsite in our seedling classroom and explore a variety of themes and are appropriate for children aged 3 to 5 years. registration is required.
our Sweet Olive Farm Camp is offered in collaboration with Fall Line South Field Institute and is an offsite camp hosted at Sweet Olive Farm in Winterville, GA. it is intended for children aged 6 to 12 years. registration is required.
